What the standard actually tests, what each SR rating means in practice, and how to choose the right rating for the threat profile your project is responding to. Covers SR1 through SR4 with worked examples.
CPD 02
Part Q for residential.
Approved Document Q compliance for new-build dwellings in England and Wales. What counts as a “Doorset Standard,” how PAS 24 maps to Part Q, and the documentation building control actually wants to see.
CPD 03
Sector deep-dives.
Custom session tailored to your firm’s project mix. We’ve run versions on data centres, retail, education, healthcare, and government. Send your current sector focus and we’ll build the content around it.
CPD content is currently delivered without formal accreditation. RIBA-approved status is in progress.
Format
How a session runs.

Duration
45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q+A. We can shorten or extend either side if your practice prefers a different shape – just tell us when you book.

Location
In-person at your office anywhere in the UK, or remote via Teams or Zoom. For in-person sessions we bring product samples and certification documents in case you want to handle the work.

Cost
Free for architectural practices, no minimum attendee count. We cover our own travel for in-person sessions within the UK.
